Andragoski zavod Maribor - Ljudska univerza (Slovenia)

Maribor Adult Education Centre was established in 1922. It provided more than 1000 various events on interest to the general public in the first two decades of its operation and significantly contributed to the cultural development of the second largest city in Slovenia. Since then it has offered all kinds of educational programmes, formal and informal, to adults and children as well. Whether it was a driving school, primary school for adults, language courses for children and adults, vocational trainings and other, ADEC always promptly responded to the needs of the people and demands of the modern living.

Nowadays we’re focusing on multimedia education, providing trainings and support for disadvantaged people, helping adults further their formal and informal education, participating in national and international projects and continuously adding to our list of programs, trainings and activities – to better ourselves, to give more to the people who come through or doors and to follow our motto: Knowledge for all generations.

Stiftelsen Kursverksamheten vid Uauniversitet (Sweden)

Folkuniversitetet is a national Adult Education Association established in 1954 that offers a wide range of VET and adult education training courses throughout Sweden and in several European countries and is currently a leading organisation in Sweden in Adult Education and Lifelong learning.
Folkuniversitetet Uppsala (FU - www.folkuniversitetet.se/uppsala) cooperates with other Folkuniversitetet offices in Sweden, thus providing national coverage. The FU Department for International Cooperation was established in 1998 aims to act as an agent for transfer of innovation between FU and cross boarder bodies by initiating own projects or participating in transnational activities coordinated by others. FU has successfully initiated and completed more than 30 different projects in vocational and adult education, integration policy and empowerment. 

Hellenic Society for the Promotion of Research and Development Methodologies Astiki Etairia (Greece)

PROMEA develops, implements and manages EU-funded projects on educational research, territorial cooperation and research innovation. Established in 2006 in Athens, Greece, by researchers & scientists sharing a common vision of open content. It aims at promoting innovative research & development methodologies, supporting knowledge capital build-up across Europe and addressing societal challenges related to workforce re-training, inclusiveness, quality improvement in education, supporting policies change in European administrations, promoting ICT innovation, resource efficiency and circular economy, and the environment.

Pucko otvoreno uciliste Cakovec (Croatia)

Public Open University Čakovec was founded in 1960. It is a public adult education institution and one of the leading adult education institutions in the Republic of Croatia. It is a member of the Croatian Association for the Education of Adults seated in Zagreb. This lifelong learning center has always evolved to meet the demands of our society. It remains a dynamic setting open to changes as well as social and economic influences dictating program structure and development. It welcomes everybody with a need for new knowledge and skills and the numerous available experts ensure the best possible education. It is an andragogical institution for lifelong learning and it provides knowledge and skills to all those who are interested in continuing their education. It offers programs of secondary school education, professional trainings of various kinds, agriculturist courses, computer science courses, language courses and takes part in many different programs financed by European Union. POU follows the current trends and needs of the labor market and thus organizes the educational programs to fit its needs.
 

 Volkshochschule im Landkreis Cham e.V. (Germany) 

Volkshochschule im Landkreis Cham e.V., or Adult Education Centre in Cham District, is a non-state non-profit institution providing educational services to adult population in Cham District and adjacent territories. 

The mission of the organisation is to ensure the right to education, access to lifelong learning services and equal opportunities by equipping citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to be an active member of society. To do so, the institution provides a wide range of services on vocational (e.g., IT, accounting, marketing) and non-vocational subjects (healthy lifestyle, sports, culture).
